Our family has always loved and worked to promote the Côte des Bar terroir and appellation area, which is capable of producing very fine wines.
The highly specific topography of this region has resulted in vine plantations on very steep slopes, which thus benefit from outstanding exposure to the sun. The vines are planted in a soil composed of marls, limestone and clay. The nature of the sub-soil lends a great typicity to our wine from Côte des Bar.
Characterised by a micro-climate, our wish was to take advantage of this asset to create a unique champagne. Our micro-terroir benefits from outstanding exposure, combined with our expertise, to produce champagnes with more roundness, character and complexity which is very popular with connoisseurs.
